In 2005 I decided to build a small greenhouse as a hobby and learn how to grow with hydroponics. Over the next few years I discovered that tomatoes grown in coco fiber and given the proper nutrients produced tomatoes far better tasting than the ones I grew outside.
Friends that I had given tomatoes to kept telling me I should sell them, so in 2010 I added on to the greenhouse and began selling at the Castle Rock Farmers Market in 2011. I have a strong following of customers that come to the market just for my tomatoes. (Peppers, cukes, lettuce, and herbs are great too!) All the produce is pesticide/herbicide free and I use the highest quality hydroponic nutrients and keep the greenhouse temperature around 78 degrees during the day I believe this produces a high quality product. Please come and try a sample for yourself.
My wife Calleen and I have a small ranch east of Parker. We have a small herd of cattle and a couple of horses.
